| while patches of snow remain, |
 |
| and the Stream of the Snake yet flows. |

| Stillness lies upon the Land, but ... |

| if you look closer, Life is bursting forth everywhere! |

| The garden is ready for planting at Beltane, |
 |
| and the muddy paths, |
 |
| are filling with clover. |
 |
| A new pond here and there, |
 |
| a patch of bright green, |
 |
| and some definite signs of spring! |
 |
| The daffodils will be blooming at Beltane. |
 |
| The flower garden ... |
 |
| is showing signs of life, |
 |
| with poppies on the way. |
 |
| Geneva builds a fire, |
 |
| while Peaches makes dessert, |
 |
| and Simon braves the chill. |
