News from the land
Light snow fell at Amber Fox yesterday. It's early spring in eastern Ontario, and the weather reminds us that Mr. Freeze and Dr. Chill still inhabit the land.
Still, the crocus are up. The crab apple and lilacs are setting their buds. The robins spend the day searching for food in the soft earth of the laneway. There is a flurry of winged activity at the feeders near the Erection...
Soon men will gather here to celebrate the gift of spring. We see it written across the sky: the moon is now half, and when it is full the time will be here.
